Do you own a Ford EV (electric vehicle) or PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) that offers MyFord Mobile? Disappointed that Ford has said they won't develop an app for Windows Phone? Sick of trying to use the web site for basic functions? Then this app is for you!

THIS APP IS ONLY FOR THOSE TWO FAMILIES OF VEHICLE - IT WILL NOT WORK WITH OTHER VEHICLES (e. g. F-series trucks)... those use a completely different setup on the Ford side, completely unrelated to the MyFord Mobile site.

This app currently offers the following basic functionality:

(*) View the charge and fuel status

(*) Lock and unlock the doors

(*) Remote start and remote stop the engine

(*) Locate the vehicle including getting walking and driving directions to where it is located

A feature that is not present is the initial sign-up - please use the MyFord Mobile web site to complete the multi-day initial setup process to get your credentials before using this app.
