Podcast+ Pro

I'm planning to buy full version only if improve the UI changing it to Universal Windows Platform / Windows 10 Mobile clean design. The "3 Lines" menu at the top left corner of the screen in apps made with UWP is really good and makes the app clean and easy to use...

Pretty useless if it doesn't sync subscriptions, played/unplayed, playlists, podcast listening progress.

On Windows 10 mobile, more than half the time downloaded podcast won't play. Most of the podcast title graphics (TWIT Network) don't display. Auto download isn't working anymore regardless of my global download settings or my individual subscription download settings and I have plenty of free space. Very irritated that I paid money for this unreliable program. I really hope it gets fixed soon.

The app has all of the features I had been looking for. You can customize each subscribed podcast for how you want to download new episodes, how many episodes to keep, when to delete them, etc. You can also customize how your downloaded podcasts are displayed, whether you want newer or older unplayed episodes on top. New downloads are also automatically added to a playlist, which you can also customize and have continuous play without having to manually change the episodes if you wish. One last, very important thing that this app has over the built in app is simply a far greater selection of podcasts that are easily accessible. I haven't had to worry about adding a feed myself yet, which was a major problem before I got this app.

It has all the features I need, I can find all the podcasts that I listen to and it has a very good as UI. I must say, the developer really cares and is very supportive I used it on my phone since windows phone 8.1, the feature i want to come back is the ability to set a background picture of your choice, that'd be pretty cool.

Update 9/10/2015: All bugs that I have experienced to-date have been resolved with the latest update. Also, new features & improvements to existing features are continually being added. This is the undisputed champion podcast app on Windows Phone, and that's not going to change anytime soon. If you are reading this review & don't yet own this app, buy it now. You won't regret it. Update 4/30/2015: Video playback issues fixed, but now a new glitch with downloaded episodes. For some feeds (ex. Freakonomics, This American Life), the app cannot keep track of more than 1 downloaded episode. App will only play the newest downloaded episode, even if an earlier downloaded episode is selected. Very frustrating. Only fix is to delete all episodes & stream instead, which is not acceptable. 3 stars for now, 5 stars once download playback is fixed. ...

Best pod player on windows I have used. Streaming is not the best and you have to keep the app open while downloading or it will pause. But will download all new podcast by hitting refresh. And has continues play
