Description

The Pearson eText for Schools app allows K‑12 teachers and students who view their Pearson eText titles on a computer to also access their programs in a bookshelf on Windows 8 devices.

With the Pearson eText for Schools app, book content is displayed with the highest quality and fidelity to the print and online versions of the textbook. Students and teachers will experience many of the same features available from the web‑based eText, including full‑text search capabilities, a notes manager, support for multimedia content, glossaries, note sharing and many other exciting features.

To access your titles: 1. Install this app on your Windows 8 device. 2. In the eText app, when prompted to Sign In, enter a valid Pearson Username and Password. 3. Your bookshelf will display your subscribed titles.

Note: If you receive a message stating "Invalid Username or Password" and you've entered the information correctly, your subscribed titles may not yet be available.

    Login Issues by Eranas

It's saying my login account and password are invalid however I now it works correctly because I have an account on the mastering site of Pearson. Please correct this issue because the main site for reading the text isn't working correctly on my tablet and I need this for class.

    Can't Login by Raeanna

I cannot login to access my etext for my class. I have an LG G-Pad and on similar app, can access without a problem. I know I'm entering my correct login info so I do not see the issue as to why I can't on here. Luckily I can just go to the website and access it there but it would've been nice to have this app.

Not Supported By Pearson by Edgar

Spent about an hour chatting with tier I and II customer support at Pearson today about why I could not log in to this app. The official line from CS is that "there is no app for surface at this time". I asked why one was available on the Microsoft app store and he said he didn't know but it wasn't supported. He did offer up the iPad and Android apps as consolation. I asked if they might put something on the Pearson site. Hope this saves you some time.

Unable to log in by Kia

Defeats the purpose of using technology to read highlight and make notes if the app does not function.

    No Login by Kevin

Like other reviews, you cannot login. What is this mess? You make people students $250 for books, then offer them subpart program, and you do it because you know you have a monopoly over students because they're forced to by it. You wonder why people pirate your books? You're useless.

    Worthless by Audrey

So I got excited to see this...only to be disappointed when it said I had the incorrect log-in info. I have an app similar to this on my HP tablet and have no problems. Windows needs to get their act together with apps.
