Guys its been a year since I rated this app. Please bring some new updates. This is the best metronome in the windows store but still lacks beef. Check Tempo by Ape (ios) and introduce some functions from there, please. Pretty please!

Does not do subdivision by Michael
Looks like it might, but it doesn't. I can't believe I can't find a single metronome app that will give me a simple triple or duple subdivision of the beat AND a decent interface? There's like 1,000 of them for iOS...

Wonderful, versatile metronome by Unknown
The person giving this app a low rating is being way too harsh. Most decent hardware metronomes start at around $25, have a couple sound options, limited onboard speaker volume, and may have a small blinking light or LCD screen for visual timekeeping. The modTronome Pro is only $4, has several USEFUL sound options. Using my onboard speakers, it's plenty loud, but depending on need, you can outboard amp it = "not loud enough" issue solved. What I really love though, is the visual aspect - follow the ball, or the background pattern. A solo artist or an ensemble can easily see the display from across the room. Turn off the speaker, practice in time to the visuals, and concentrate on your tone. Too cool. :)
