Description
Terrorist Alert Level will keep you informed about the current level of terrorism threat to the UK as defined by MI5 and the Home Office. Weather you live in the UK or just planning a trip to the UK, knowing what the security services think is the first step, and knowing what to do should you suspect or see something is the next. This app will help you both those steps.
Terrorist Alert Level is Windows 10 Desktop and Mobile Universal App.
Are you worried about the threats from ISIS (ISIL), Al Qaida (AQ), Airport, Tube, Bus bombings or radicalisation in the UK? Is the UK under immediate threat? If you're feeling uneasy about using Public Transport, going to London, Flying, or generally anxious about what each day might bring, Keep Calm, the UK Government's counter terrorism strategy aims to reduce the risk from international terrorism, so that people can go about their business freely and with confidence. While the current terrorist threat presents many challenges, public safety is their absolute priority.
Terrorist Alert Level will keep you informed about the current terrorism threat level, what you should do, who to contact and more.. You will also be alerted should the Threat Level change.
The Government can never guarantee that attacks will not happen in the future, but its security effort is dedicated to reducing the risk as much as possible. Assessments of the level and nature of the threat from international terrorism are made by the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC); the Security Service is responsible for setting the threat levels for both Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Threat levels in themselves do not require specific responses from the public. They are a tool for security practitioners working across different sectors of the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) and the police to use in determining what protective security response may be required. By its very nature, intelligence cannot be revealed completely and there will always be limitations to what they can say about security and the responses they have planned.
Terrorist Alert Level data is provided by Mi5 although this application is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with MI5 or the Home Office.
