Description

The Informed Delivery® application allows you to interact with your incoming mail and packages in one convenient location. Digitally preview your household’s letter-sized mailpieces and receive USPS Tracking® updates for incoming packages directly in the app: • Verify your identity to ensure you have access to your secure dashboard • Digitally preview grayscale images of the exterior, address side of their household’s letter-sized mailpieces scheduled to arrive soon. • Report missing mailpieces, and in some cases, interact with mailer-provided digital content associated with mailpiece images (e.g., special offers, related links). • Schedule emails and/or text-based alerts to track the delivery status of your incoming packages. • Scan the barcode on shipping labels with a mobile device’s camera to store the label number and track its status. • Leave delivery instructions for incoming packages and schedule a redelivery.

    Good Start by Ryan

This appears to be a web wrapper, but I don't see that as being a problem. It feels pretty close to native. From a developer standpoint, for a lot of companies it makes more sense to write web apps and then use web wrapper apps, since they don't have to write multiple code bases, and the app can be completely responsive, meaning it works on all screen sizes. However, from what I see, you can only receive notifications through text or email. My only two suggestions are: (1) Add support for native notifications, and (2) The app's UI doesn't look very clean, referring to the navigation at the bottom of the mobile app and the header. This is a good start, I just hope that they are good at maintaining and updating the app because I could see myself using it a lot.

Ok but could be better by chad

Ok so I use this app on my android and on my desktop running windows 10. The interface is nice and similar on both, I would rate the windows 10 app a 5 star, however unlike my android app, I cannot select "Keep me signed in" like I can on my android device. would be much more of a time saver if I didn't have to log in every time I launch this app on my desktop. Also on the desktop app there is no refresh button, ultimately forcing you to log out and log back in to get the status to update.

Don't make us Sign in every time! by Philip

this is basically a web portal...which is fine. Very basic, but works as it's supposed to. Now, I would only like that they keep users logged in. I don't want to have to log in every time I launch it

Won't store login credentials by James

Unlike the web based version, this app won't store the users login credentials requiring you to log in each time... If they added that capability I'd rate it a "5", but until then a low "2" is all it deserves.

    Great! by D

This is welcome addition to the windows store, I usually relied in Cortana for package tracking since there was no usps app available in windows phone, this work great for now in detail about shipping, please allow us to order stamps , mail supplies and print shipping labels on the go!
