Microsoft HoloLens

You can add it when you get your HoloLens and put it in development mode (same like on PC, mobile and other versions of windows 10). Did seem weird that you had to know the exact IP address for you to connect. Would seem easier if it was like when you connect to a Xbox and it just finds it, but it seems good. Now only if Microsoft can get hololens way cheaper than the price tag it has. It seems really cool how you could use this app to make a cool video like on a GoPro

If you're fortunate to have your hands on a Wave 1 HoloLens -- this application is a must -- not something that is listed in the manual, but it should be. The streaming feature alone looks amazing and will help to show off how fantastic your HoloLens is! //Lance Larsen

I want to love this app. I really do. But I've tried it on 3 different WiFi networks and the stream always cuts out after 30 - 60 seconds of video. It may be something wrong with the Surface Pro 3 WiFi settings, but considering I've tried 3 networks (two different homes and one Verizon Midi) I'm not hopeful. If I manage to find a fix, I'll come back and update my review.

I cannot connect to device from mobile. Works very good on PC

We have turned on the developer settings and have the IP address but cannot connect to it. We can see in our router that the minwinpc device has the IP address it is reporting. Not sure what we can do....

I can't find this app in Asia windows shop

Once I learned to navigate the Settings on the HoloLens (and thus find the IP address of the unit), I was able to connect on my laptop and see and hear what the HoloLens user does. There is a lag, but that's understandable because it's going over the Internet. This app has been a life saver every time I let someone check out the HoloLens. I can see their display and then guide them thru what to do until they get the hang of it. Without this, it would be almost possible to tell them what to do. An interesting thing, too, is that on the laptop I see more than the HoloLens user does, because it's not limited to the Field of View of the HoloLens. Many thanks to the devs for this great app.

The Live Streaming feature is really awesome. This is the app that I use whenever I present or I give talks in tech communities using HoloLens.
