Limited functionalities and want payment up front?? by mm
Strange days it is, I'm an android pay user and happy with what that got me. But here in windows this app is so limited it is a completely different app. The Chrome extension beats it anyway. I don't mind paying for join as a stand alone app in windows, but with limited functionalities, should at least let join users use it and might help develop it until it is fully functional then charge it. NO?

good pushbullet replacement, needs a design overhaul by talor
first off, this is an amazing app and the developer has done some great work. I switched from pushbullet because join had more features at a better price. However, the ui of the apps aren't perfect, and I often get lost trying to do something. I understand the app is still under development, so I hope this will change. Overall join is a great app though.

Yay! Universal! Boo not phone ready 2/2016 by Alan
As I write this the app is almost just a placeholder for future development, so it's primitive on PC and basically useless on the phone (layout issues/not responsive). Still I'm incredibly pleased by the prospect of a Universal app for Join.

Not Perfect (... yet) by Unknown
You can tell that the app is a work in progress, but the latest update brought SMS support from within the Windows app itself. A much welcome improvement over having the button take you to the web site. Still some issues, such as no word-wrapping on the SMS, which means that longer messages get cut off. But it's coming along, nicely. As I said, it's obviously a work in progress, but things are progressing nicely.

Decent by Ado
I like the lack of bloat compared to other SMS apps such as Pushbullet and Airdroid, but there are many features missing. For example, my texts don't automatically refresh (I have to go back to my messages and click on a text message so it reloads); some texts come in late (like if someone sends 5 texts in a row, I'll sometimes receive 3 of the 5 and later receive the last 2); I can't delete text conversations (even if deleted on phone); no mms support; no emoji support; sometimes texts are visible on the list of all conversations, but when you click on a particular conversation, that text isn't visible. Interface leaves a lot to be desired, but I'd rather see the missing features above than a better design.

Buggy and Limited Features compared to Chrome by Graham
I like the idea of a desktop client for Join, so I'm staying optimistic that this'll be developed further. However, as it stands, you're better off using the chrome extension. I feel like this should be a free offering until it reaches maturity, but I guess it's worth supporting development of this great app.

Buggy, but Promise by Brian
It is beta, so keep that in mind. That being said, I like the features that this offers for one-time payment instead of monthly/annually. The app on the phone doesn't really do anything but act as a proxy service, it seems. When sending texts from the Windows 10 app, it doesn't always send. Again, this could be for lack of communicating with the service app on the phone in a timely manner. The other features, as other users have stated, sometimes show up hours later, like screenshots and opening clipboard. The Chrome extension works a bit better, but I can't get it to stay open to function as an app like this Windows 10 app. A desktop app instead of a Windows Store app may be a bit easier to work with (IMO). I'm going to continue trying this because I'm interested in the features it offers and look forward to updates from the developer. *Edit - showed my age by calling it a Metro app at first*

Unreliable by ecamirG
Constantly requires signing back in, and either forgets or lets channel urls expire. Makes it toally useless for any kind of automation or reliable notifications. Requesting devices re-register also doesn't work.
