Description

The first Windows Phone app that brought you over-the-air downloading of Podcasts on Windows Phone 7 just got even better! BringCast 4.0 is a Universal Windows podcatcher that allows users to subscribe to podcast feeds, download and stream episodes to their phone over WiFi or cellular data connection and build playlists to listen to or watch.

BringCast supports audio and video podcasts and comes with a database of popular shows.

Note: In order to listen to or watch podcasts using BringCast, media files must be downloaded to your mobile device. The downloads can occur over the cellular data connection or WiFi depending on how the handset is configured and what networks are active at the time. Media files can vary in size from 5MB to 250MB or larger depending on your subscriptions. If you download podcasts over your cellular data connection, additional charges may apply depending on your rate plan.

Far and away the best podcatcher I've used on WP. I've purchased and used a few other higher profile, higher rated (and more expensive) apps, but they've all had one issue or another--such as not resuming correctly, not streaming well, not downloading properly or not tying into the lockscreen controls like it should; Bringcast is the only one that works flawlessly for me. I was a little disappointed at first when I couldn't find a couple of usual podcasts, then found that pasting the feed URL works perfectly too. Outstanding app.

This has been a great app so far! Being able to download episodes and reorder the playlist is awesome!
