Description
Microsoft App Installer for Windows 10 makes sideloading Windows 10 apps easy: Just double-click the app package, and you won't have to run PowerShell to install apps. App Installer presents the package info like app name, publisher, version, display logo, and the capabilities requested by the app. Get right into the app, no hassles--and if installation doesn't work, the error messages were designed to help you fix the problem. This application is currently only available for desktop PCs.

Happy about this! by Hugh
I'm glad, this makes sideloading a lot easier. All I want now is Windows 10 mobile support.

FINALLY by luigimaster
Windows 10 is finally an open platform that doesn't require the Store to distribute Universal Programs. Now PLEASE port this to Windows 10 Mobile and it will become a better development platform than ANY of it's competitors.

No unsigned apps? by Conner
Why can't this install unsigned apps? How am I supposed to distribute the app I made? I don't want to use Windows Store, I don't want to buy a code signing certificate, and I certainly don't want to have a tutorial on my website explaining how to install my app with PowerShell. Give the user a scary warning message for all I care, but let them install it! I want to get on board with your new platform Microsoft, but you're making it difficult!
