Description
With the 360 Viewer Microsoft Edge extension, you can view 360 videos and photos from many popular websites on your Windows Mixed Reality headset.
When a Windows Mixed Reality headset is plugged into your PC, view 360 videos and photos in your headset from Microsoft Edge by clicking the Windows Mixed Reality icon that has been added to the video or photo.
Currently supports content from these websites: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Veer.tv and NYTimes. Websites that embed content from YouTube also work.
Note: you can navigate to a website in Microsoft Edge on your desktop (not in Edge in the Cliff house), play a 360 video and click on the Mixed Reality icon. This will automatically launch Windows Mixed Reality and start playing the 360 video in your headset as long as you have your headset plugged into your PC.

You can get in. but you cant get out by John
You have to take off headset and windows y your screen to stop video or change or get back to cliff house. controllers do not work and you cannot fast forward or rewind or skip. It is JUST a viewer. Nice viewer, but lack of controls and needing to remove headset to exit the viewer is unacceptable.

The first free option for viewing 360 YouTube content by Jonathan
Does what it sets out to do, allows WMR users to view 360 YouTube content from within the Cliff house, Edge browser app.

Doesn't work by James
I've tried installing it twice. I've turned the extension on and have tried watching YouTube videos on the Edge browser on my desktop and in mixed reality. I get no icon in the videos and when I click the icon on the top right of the Edge browser it tells me that I need to plug in my headset. It is clearly plugged in since I am in mixed reality at this time.

Must Have by Richard
This is what I had been looking for all along. This really makes mixed reality what I was looking for. Watching 2D youtube videos in this environment is a really a fun experience. Please bring this function to the movies app. It may be a little buggy but I cannot tell if its the app or my PC which is a little underpowered.

Crashes every time by Unknown
I'd love for this to work, but it doesn't. The goggles icon shows up on the right videos as it should. When selected, the goggle display starts to form (Cliffhouse goes away, exploding triangles opening) and then it crashes back to the Cliffhouse. No video is played. Sometimes it even takes out Edge as well. Un- and re-installing helps not.
