2Day

2Day is hands down the best task manager that I have used on Windows! I love the interface, plus its ability to sync with various services (including ToodleDo). I use this app along with the Windows Phone version, and it has greatly helped me organize my work and school tasks.

Somewhere along the line, GTD apps got way too complicated. Many have come and gone, and the awful Nozbe has somehow ended up on top. 2day is 1) very fast compared to Nozbe and competitors and 2) project/deadline based. This is a program to use if your life I is well, subject to deadlines. I write consulting reports. All have deadlines. My social life is scheduled. Whether visiting friends, playing music, trips. Even typical errands are best scheduled. Sure, I can use a calendar, but apps like this make it much easier to keep everything organized and prioritize. Really thankful for this developer, and I hope Microsoft promotes products like this on the store. *Update. Now that I have come to really appreciate this app, I think Microsoft would be wise to purchase it nd incorporate it with Cortana. Cortana's reminders are just too basic. It would be easy to integrate this into a whole Cortana based reminder/schedule system.

0814: Dev's released what appears to be a major update. They refined the UI - new fonts, cleaner graphics - looks more "modern". More importantly, so far, the syncing on multiple device issues appears to be resolved! Devs are responsive but the app, like many others have stated, is having trouble syncing I have tried multiple to-do apps in the Windows 8 store. Most important for me is the ability to sync among multiple devices. This one fits the bill to the point the I moved from google task syncing to toodle do. The UI is fantastic- very flexible and very pleasing to the eye. Drag and drop functionality is excellent (change categories or dates by dragging!) Most of the other apps in the store have some sort of limitation. This one gives you all the tools you want/need and gives you the power of choice. Additionally, these devs have experience already with their W8P app - this is a port to W8. With a 30 day trial, try it! What is there to lose?

Love the GUI and features, but the sync is horrible. On one PC it throws error message 90% of the time and on a second machine it forgets my sync configuration (OneDrive) totally, as if it has never been set up. The WP8 app is a bit better

Double entries in tasks is a problem. You also need, to fix the categories so that the tasks are organized and colorized when shown on the "today" list. I sync with outlook.com.

Feature-rich--I love this app--it's versatile. I'm able to view a week at a time if I want and I love that I can organize everything in folders. There are numerous options for repeating tasks, too. All around great app. Can't say enough nice things about it!

We are coming from Android and another full featured todo app. So far this is the very best on Windows phone and is working well. It is missing a few features such as selective folder sync and a couple other things. We look forward to future updates.
