Zip Opener

I had used this app to try and open a file for a project, and when I had shut my Surface off the next day, it wouldn't boot back up. Turns out the app had opened more than just that file and ended up corrupting my boot file. And there's no easy fix for the Surface 2. It cost me $150 to get it fixed. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!

The app extracts your files for you and places them in your download folder. However, it holds them hostage unless you BUY their Zip opener app. So, it is not actually free. Not cool.

I was just trying to download something but when I opened it a popup said I had to choose what sort of app to use to open it, and it showed no possible apps I already had downloaded on my computer. So I looked in the app store and this was the first one to come up so I downloaded it. But all that happened when I tried to open the document was it would supposedly unzip it and then save the file to my Downloads folder, except it never appeared in my downloads folder, and every time I selected the same document it would just open the app which would supposedly unzip it and save another copy, so now I have about 8 versions of this supposedly unzipped document I can't find or unzip because I uninstalled the app. I've never had such a poor experience with any computer or any file opener.

Great free app, super easy to use. Really like how it automatically unzips the files for you. In all its just an awesome program.

It opened to a zip opener in the downloads folder. From there it can be moved to where ever you want to put it. It might be a little easier if it allowed you to pick where to open it to, but not much.

With a very simple interface, Zip Opener allows you to easily unzip archived files. The application is lightweight and doesn't require many resources, it also is extremely simple so it gets the job done without causing more hassle than you need.
