Description
"Spectral Souls" the awaited full size Japanese Tactical RPG is available now for your Windows 8 Device !!!
STORY : Neverland is a world apart from our own, home to strange and dangerous creatures. Two of these creatures, humans and demons, have been struggling against each other for many years. As the centuries passed, control shifted from demons to humans and back again. The humans finally earned a clear victory after the First Neverland War. But this left the country in ruins and was the direct cause of the Second Neverland War, which saw the decisive victory of the demons once again.
Magic Age 1053 Tragedy strikes the small woodland village of Petun, the town is attacked and burned to the ground by vicious Neverland troops. But Petun is only the first of many massacres; the Demon Army tears through every human village it can find, slaughtering the people as it goes. Humiliated and infuriated by these abuses, the humans begin to resist and fight back. It starts as a rash of disorganized, sporadic riots. But it soon grows into something more, something meaningful. These uprisings become a beacon of hope to all humans, spurring them on to unite and form a new empire. They choose a name to reflect their most noble traditions, to reflect a time when they ruled over the demon horde. They call it the Reformed Simba Empire.
Petun?little more than a bump in the road, a mark on a map. But this is where it all started, where the undercurrent of disdain and hatred overflowed into a bloody torrent of death and destruction, drowning Neverland in war for years to come. This is where our story begins?the story of the Seven Year War.

Excellent Strategy RPG by Justin
This is a full-blown strategy RPG. It has everything with the exception of voice acting. The storyline is a bit hard to follow at times, especially since the story may be progressed by the players' choosing. I've always wanted a more mobile SRPG to play that wasn't terrible or too short, and this is the only one I found and it's great. I've played it for over 40 hours now and I must be somewhere in the middle of the game or 2/3 of the way. It's still entertaining and the battle system is what keeps this game interesting and fun for me. I really hope that they will bring Blazing Souls to the Windows Store soon too. It would be a tragedy for a whole genre of tablet users to not have these stellar games to play on the Windows tablets or phones.

Not worth $16 by Christopher
This game is very similar to Final Fantasy Tactics in gameplay -- the battles are fun. The touch screen controls worked well, although menu selections are not as intuitive as the should be and it often isn't clear what different commands do. Part of this is a translation problem. Dialogue is tediously boring, and the story is both stupid and confusing. The bottom line is that this would be an excellent game for $5 -- but $16 is laughable. Wait until the price drops.

Great tactics game play, but pricey. by Neil
Great game play like final fantasy tactics. The controls are a little strange at first, but you get used to it. The storyline is confusing, but I could care less. I know this game is just ported over, but I wish the graphics were a little better to justify the price.

Don't buy it. by Eric
The controls are terrible. This is a port from a console so it seems. Everything is used or accessed from the dpad except the escape menu. I am a big fan of jrpgs, but for $15, no way. Its a strategy rpg like ogre tactics and wild arms so don't expect any great level grinding either. If it was $5 or lower, it would maybe be a 4 out of 5.
