not free by Dan
This says free. But you cant use it unless you pay for a subscription. That is the opposite of free. This is entirely misleading.

Sad. by Duff
I guess I should have read the ratings and comments, and scrolled down to see the warning about it not being quite free. It would be helpful if they were more visibly up-front on the cost of using the app, right at the "front door," rather than having to go through the surprise of a shakedown in the entry foyer, so to speak. Not a problem, though - it's simple to uninstall an app, and I've wasted more time writing this than if I'd just shrugged my shoulders, uninstalled, and gone on with life. Maybe we should lighten up...

Total Bait & Switch by John
Downloaded it. Wish I hadn't. Couldn't even try it without a subscription! So turned off by their underhanded approach. I would pay for a useful app I like, but I would never buy from a company that acts so snakey!

App is a paid subscription, should be more clear before downloading.

Hidden Fee! by Jennifer
I downloaded what I thought was a free app for use in my classroom, only to discover when I opened said app that I'd have to purchase a subscription to actually use it! I am furious right now. I don't mind paying for quality, but I detest being tricked into doing it!
