Works great! I would suggest adding an option so that the paddle is still (zero velocity) when your wrist is at the natural position of thumb facing up. Also, don't release the ball until the user returns the paddle to the center for a second.

A useful feature would be an option that the ball does not release each time until the paddle has been still for a second or so. If you were to create a live tile, (I don't find it very important) you could show the user's high score. Same could work for Bounce.
