NBC News

Decent app--provides quick access to articles and videos, which is convenient if I miss the nightly news. In my opinion, however, Bing news is a better overall news app since it aggregates stories from multiple optional sites. Most importantly, however, NBC's idea of important 'breaking news' is out of kilter, resulting in way too many interruptions for trivial stories. School shooting? Sure, notify me of that. Some guy alleging that some other guy is lying, even if both are politicians; don't bother me. Unfortunately, NBC doesn't have a setting such that you can select which notifications to receive--it's all or nothing. It would be better if they had a 'severity' slider or something. This is tolerable on the Windows app, but on a Phone it is more than annoying since you might dismiss something truly important (missed call, text, etc.) thinking it's just NBC bugging you about something silly.

Way too many Notifications... need a way to shut them off!

I used to love this app. What is going on-- never updates or refreshes -- had this app. For several years and never had this happen. What's wrong? How many days do we have to see the same news stories? Please fix this! It is stuck on June 12th. It's now the 18th? When?

It is time for a W10 version... Please update the app with a universal app.
