I have something to say! by Christian

This game is kind of old now, and maybe it's not as popular as it was before. But just because other people stopped playing, does not mean you should too. People don't realize what you really can make with this game especially with the introduction of command blocks. I wish I could tell you everything you can do with this game, but I can't because there is just too many things. Don't let people judge you for playing this game. Just play whatever you find fun!

    Buy Java Edition. by Kurt

Buy Java Edition. When you buy it you get Windows 10 Edition free as well. Also, if you have a PC, you should play on Java Edition, there's no micro transactions or broken redstone. Java Edition allows FREE mods, maps and texture packs. If you want to create custom worlds and mod your game, play Java Edition. Windows 10 Edition is becoming part of Micro$oft's walled garden. Java Edition is produced solely by Mojang, the original creators of Minecraft.

Great game, but buy Java Edition to get this for free by Dylan

In the past, I've given this version of Minecraft a great review because of its features, like being able to play with your friends from any smart device. However, I find myself retreating to the Java Edition, mostly because it's more fully featured, and it's what I grew up with. Now, don't get me wrong. I think Microsoft's Minecraft is good, but I'm seeing more and more that it's better for kids than for adults. The interface is very user-friendly and you don't have to worry about having a PC that can run it, because it works on basically every smartphone and Windows computer. Plus, it's great to play the server games. But I'm finding it harder and harder to recommend it for my friends because of how plain it is. Personally, I'd rather have a game I can mod and be creative with nowadays, and that's what the Java Edition does that this can't. I strongly suggest buying the Java Edition on Minecraft.net first, and then downloading your free copy of this version. It will be worth it.

Great for what it is. by Josh

For those of you that don't know, this is not an attempt to make the pc version into a windows 10 application. It's an attempt to unify the mobile, xbox, and pc games. That being said, it's simply a port from pocket edition to a pc, which means it is limited to the functions of mobile devices to a degree. Granted, it does not have as much functionality as the full pc version, but it does allow you to connect with pe and xbox users in way that was not possible before. And remember, it is in BETA testing, which means there will be quite a few bugs and crashes. Overall, it's great for it's use.

    It's a Beta by Hakan

Before you go downloading this you have to understand that this is a beta. I have found many bugs just barely entering the game. There is one HUGE advantage to getting WinX edition and that is fps. The fps has increased dramatically from the PC version. I even ran this on a bad computer to try it out, and I was floating around 60-80 fps. Some bugs I have noticed however is that you have to click a block/animal once before you can actually interact with it. This makes it virtually impossible to kill animals. But, as I said, it's a Beta. Also, I can't speak for everyone but I personally am used to a small GUI, and in the PC version you are able to change the size of the GUI, but unfortunately that is yet to be a feature in the WinX edition. I love the fact that you can change skins and characters. Some of the content of the game is outdated compared to the PC edition, but many people are enjoying it because it reminds them of Minecraft classic. Overall, I think this has great potential.
