Description
FileBot is the ultimate tool for organizing and renaming Movies, TV Shows, Anime or Music. It's smart, highly customizable, and just works.
If you're using HTPC software like Plex or Kodi then FileBot is a must-have utility!
FileBot will match your files against TheMovieDB or TheTVDB and then rename (or move / copy / symlink / hardlink) them exactly the way you want it. Anything is possible!
If you need help extracting archives en masse or checking SFV / MD5 / SHA1 / SHA256 files then FileBot will get that done too.
Getting Started:
Organize your media files: 1. Drag media files onto "Original Files" 2. Click "Fetch Data" and select a database 3. Hit "Rename"!

Fantastic piece of software, disappointed on the price by Steven
I've used several older pieces of software that did collection renaming and had mixed success. I mainly use it for my Anime collections, this is worlds better than those experiences! It's helped me immensely! The only thing I'm disappointed with is that I thought that the $20 price was hard to swallow, I feel like based on the interface, it should be more around $10 price point, but otherwise very happy with the functionality!

Paid app is horrible vs free app by Colby
Not sure what happened but decided to pay for this app and I am regretting it. It hangs a lot and there is nothing in task manager to shut it down when it hangs. I went back to the last free version and it works perfectly.

19.99 was a bit much but it does what it needs to do by Bob
I was on the fence about spending 20 bucks just to organize my movies folder for plex. I used theRenamer for a while before but now it seems to crash. After looking around and seeing almost no other options I decided to purchase this. It does what it suppose to but as a UWP developer myself I know that the size of over 200MB is a bit much and the UI/UX could be more simple. I think I may try to compete with you and create my own app. :)
