Not Free to Play if you Can't Finish the Game Without Paying. In the main game some elements are "locked" and unlocking them takes energy (lightning) that increases with every unlocked element. The only way to get energy is to complete tasks (making certain elements). There comes a point when you cannot make any more combinations with your unlocked elements (the game tells you this as a fact with hints that you use) but you do not have enough energy to unlock anything, meaning you cannot complete tasks and earn energy. Less than half way through the first of four sections the game stops being "free" and requires money to continue. This is dishonest and bait and switch. The assumption with free to play is that you can actually complete the game without paying, though it will be harder and take longer than if you pay. Essentially, this is a FREE TRIAL disguised as free to play. There is a HUGE difference.

Fun to to a point and then you have to pay to continue. Not free to play.

Although it is a fun game, it is not free. Certain elements remain locked and you cannot unlock them without eventually having to pay for more lightening bolts (energy, mana, not sure what they call it). The cheapest refill is $3.99 (possibly still not enough) making this "free" game more expensive than most other games. Clearly the creators' "god" complex has gone to their heads.

Insanely expensive game. After a few elements, every element needs to be unlocked for money. I doubt you could finish the game without paying hundreds of dollars.
