Use this camera app ONLY if the pre-installed Microsoft Camera app stops working. the Microsoft Camera app has more features. This app is meant to be used to take simple photos, videos when the Microsoft Camera app does not work properly. We developed this app for our own use initially because the Microsoft Camera app kept hanging, and rebooting was the only way to enable the device to take pictures again. Also, the Camera Roll folder’s sync with OneDrive is not reliable. We wanted a simple app that allows us to take a picture, upload it to OneDrive reliably so that it can be on a computer synced with OneDrive . We believe that we have achieved this simple goal. With Camera Alternative, we can take a picture and get the picture on a desktop or laptop computer in a few second literally thanks to the fast sync of OneDrive (hats off to Microsoft for the high performance of OneDrive).
