Just plain fun. by Jewsy
Great content in the expansions, and eliminating the cap on zoo size were high points. If there was anything to improve it'd be cleaning up the few bugs to I've seen.

Different, but not necessarily in a good way... by Kathryn
I was hoping it would incorporate elements from the older PC Zoo Tycoon games where you can design your own enclosures, make rides through your exhibits, and control where you put pathways. This game limits almost all of your creative freedom when it comes to designing your zoo. everything already comes pre-made and it's a drag and drop kind of deal. It definitely feels like it was made to cater to ease of use for console players, but unfortunately they made it near impossible to design a beautiful zoo. The animals do look wonderful in 4k HDR, but if you want something with mechanics like you're used to playing, this isn't it. I really wanted to like it, but I just can't. They took a lot of the fun out of it when they chose not to give you the freedom to create almost anything.

Fun game by XxNeon NinjaxX
Having the limit removed and the new animals would make this a 5 star, but a few bugs that are game breaking need to be addressed. First is anytime you buy/sell/release/move an animal more than half the time it doesn't work, and the only way so far to fix this is to save and reload. Sometimes this will cause a crash to the dashboard even. Second is over a short time playing in a zoo the animal AI breaks so they stand in one spot and are no longer selectable. Sometimes they will even be outside the actual exhibit on the guest path doing this. The only way to fix this issue is to save/reload. These issues happen rather frequent and can be frustrating while going through the campaign. This is a wonderful zoo simulator and as I said would be 5 stars, but those glitches need a patch to make it more enjoyable.
