Virtual City HD (Full)

Paid for full app. When I start it, it gives option to 'unlock' but when I push that button it tells me I'm not connected to internet. MS gave me runaround passing me to 4 different support reps none of whom could or would do either thing which would satisfy me which is make it work or give me my money back. Developer totally unhelpful saying it is a windows store issue and basically not their problem that I can't play the game I just bought from them. If you're thinking f buying this game, don't. Pay attention to the number of people who have found helpful the review similar to this one but less detailed where the guy says he paid but the game wouldn't upgrade from trial to full.... wish I would have seen that THE MAJORITY of people who commented on a review said they found that review helpful.... presumably after having lost their money too.

Interesting game. Well done. Based on the merits of the trial version, I made the purchase from the Windows Store but I cannot unlock the game. I had to call Windows Store support to get my money back. The FAQ on G5E.com basically blames Microsoft.

I only received a second copy of the free version. If I click the button to unlock the game, it tells me that I can't connect to Windows Store because I am not connected to the Internet. I tried several times over the last two days.

I too fell for this purchase on Oct. 31st and just as others state, you CANNOT unlock this game. Tried a reinstall and syncing licenses but those didn't work. G5 states that it's not their problem if app is bought through the Windows Store and I looked for info on the problem but haven't as of yet found any help nor have I bothered to contact Windows Store. I see no point if they aren't helping others .. guess I'm out a few bucks on this one.

Paid for full version. Can't play it because it won't upgrade from the trial.
