It is the year 1830, and a young governess named Ester has just received a letter that will change her life forever.

The message from her aunt tells Ester that her parents, whom she never met, left her an inheritance – a mansion in London. But when she goes there, it turns out that the residence is abandoned, run-down, and haunted.

When she explores the mansion, slowly learning her family’s secrets, she discovers that for many centuries, members of her family have been investigating the phenomenon of time travel. Soon Ester finds a strange object that confirms the extraordinary legacy of the Ambrose family. One of the best! by michelle
Very long game! Loved it! Using the time machine to move around was a lot of fun and the storyline was awesome. The only small issue I had was that there aren't enough mini games. A lot of hidden object games but it would have been nice to have less and more mini game puzzles instead. Still a great game none the less.

"Hint" is totally useless in this game by Sierra
Unlike most of the Artiflex Mundi games I find this one infuriating. Any time you get stuck and you click on the Hint button it just has you go the time machine - even if there are puzzles to solve in the current time. And the maps in the Time Machine are useless - none of the maps have the ! for an objective so you spend hours going through all times clicking on everything randomly until you maybe get lucky - they don't even have the sparkles to indicate there's a puzzle to solve. grrrrr....

One of Artifex Mundi's best series, the Time Mysteries link you back to Merlin and his romance with the evil Vivien. In this story, you have to free Merlin from a 2000-year old curse, sending you throughout time. The mini-games are good and the visuals lend the right atmosphere. A nice way to spend a rainy afternoon!

Enjoyable by ROCHELLE
This is a easy game to play...something to pass the time. Not great, but good...and the price is right. If you like HOG's you will not be disappointed with this one.
