Description
The Turing Test is a first person puzzler that explores the phenomena of consciousness and challenges the meaning of human intuition. Take control of Ava Turing, an engineer for the International Space Agency (ISA), and progress through a narrated story of introspection and morality whilst uncovering the hidden mysteries of Europa. Delve into The Turing Test’s human interaction puzzles and arm yourself with logical and methodical thinking. Take on tests designed in such a way that only a human could solve them. In an evolving story based on mankind’s inherent need to explore, protect and survive; players search deeper into Europa’s ice crusted core and transcend the line between man and machine. Investigate the truth behind the ISA research base on Jupiter’s moon Europa. Solve puzzles using your Energy Manipulation Tool (EMT) to transfer power out from one object and into another. Power up and take control of artificially intelligent machines, manipulate giant structures and solve complex tasks; all woven into a multi-layered story based on the human struggle for control. The Turing Test can only be experienced through the interactive medium of video games.
The Turing Test sparks your synapses into action in this electrifying new first person puzzler, as players learn the true cost of retaining human morality.

Excellent graphics*, great concept, dry narrative by James
To attend to the elephant in the room: yes, many aspects of this game (its aesthetic, gameplay, and even story) are modeled after the wildly successful Portal series. I found the textures and animations to be similar to what Portal 2 offered, while the physics and puzzle architecture reminded me (more so at least) of the original. The greatest (and most unfortunate) divergence from Portal, however, relates to the game's narrative. The Turing Test lacks any semblance of the character, charm, & dark humor that made Portal unforgettable. With that said, I felt that this entry did a reasonable job of distinguishing itself (insofar as one can in imitation) with unique gameplay mechanics and novel puzzle elements. Ultimately, if you liked the fundamental concept of Portal (a first person puzzle), I'd suggest purchasing this title. Do so, however, with the knowledge that The Turing Test places a significant weight on the _act_ of solving tests. * remember to set your screen's resolution

Pretty Entertaining by Andrew
Great game, but some bugs that were pretty close to game breaking. Luckily I was able to restart the level a few times to get it to do the appropriate thing. (Section 35 comes to mind)
