The Long Dark

I happened upon this game looking for the 'non multiplayer' bliss experience that's really been lost. Sure, I LOVE Fallout 4 and spend many house wandering the Wasteland there, too; however finding play balance between sci-fi and non-fiction is nice. This game doesn't include the latest Unreal Engine, but it doesn't need to. Absolute realism is awesome. I can't wait for a ray-tracing console, that being said, sometimes it's nice to have art in its place. This game is that. Art.

if u like survival games its a must buy plus it is a play anywhere title even though it don't say it

pretty sure this was the first or one of the first preview games on xbox one. so glad I clicked on the store today and saw since I owned it on Xbox One i could install it On W10 although it doesn't seem to be a play anywhere title! so happy right now!!!

Fun survival but unbalanced. Discription says sparce wildlife, however 5 different wolves in 1 minute is not sparce. Fishing so far on normal means 0 to 3 fish before line breaks causing you to have at least 10 to last one day? Was not that bad before update. Dying of thirst on normal every time you wake from sleeping for the night has been an issue from day one(is it salty water?). If it is supposed to be normal, why is it not... Are these issues and many more just something players put up with? I understand its after a disaster, but do I have to try to survive in a building full of trash that I can not get rid of or move? Not sure what the point is anymore.

LOVE THIS GAME!!! POS. BEST GAME EVERY! IVE BEEN PLAYING GAMES SINCE PONG...NO JOKE. MY FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME....JUST BY HOURS PUT IN PLAYING. IT ONLY GETS BETTER AND BETTER!! AND IS PROABLY THE FUTURE OF GAME RELEASES!! HUGE FAN OF RAPH AND THE WHOLE HINDERLAND TEAM, WAY TO GO....KEEP IT UP!!! VERY SATISFIED SO FAR...AND LOOK FORWARD FO THE FUTURE OF THIS GAME!

fantastic concept and execution, very immersive, I love xbox play anywhere, great value. Great Game!

Not sure why but every time I try to start this game on windows it refuses to start I've tried to uninstall n reinstall 4 times now would highly recommend NOT playing this on windows at all. Which is a shame because console doesn't do this game justice as far as showing the true beauty in the graphics.
