Sun Monitor downloads and displays the latest solar images and data in an easy to use layout, including on start menu live tiles. *Set Live tile to automatically update with your chosen image *Pinch zoom in on images to see detail. *Hold image thumbnail to change live tiles and the default main image. *Settings page to change update limits and restore app default settings. *Info page to help understand what the images and graphs mean. *Use in conjunction with other spaceweather sources.

Requires internet access for image updates.

Note: The info page states that coronal holes that face earth are associated with increased earthquake activity. This association is not widely accepted by mainstream science (2017). Yet there is a lot of evidence supporting this claim, and it allows solar observations to potentially saved thousands of lives due to increased preparedness.
