Rise of Nations: Extended Edition

Why do I have to be connected to the internet to play a locally installed game? Maybe I want to play it on a plane or while riding in a car. Why can't I play solo games without connectivity? That's my biggest issue. MS has done this with several games including Solitaire.

If you have no the internet, you can't play this game, because it not starting! Microsoft, ask me, please, why? I wanna play to my favorite game in the road.

This is pretty cool. I love to see a classic game show up again like this. Downloaded fine and I've already played a few multiplayer games. It takes a little time to figure out the strategy, but this game is really deep once you've gotten into it. And being able to level up all the way to modern age with tanks and stealth fighters is awesome. Graphics a little dated, but it runs super fast and really fun to play. A great PC classic.

Had a lot of fun playing this game on Surface Book. More optimized to high resolution that AOE2 HD.

love the game/ always have, but it just stopped working a few days in.. Reinstalled the game, works fine. But then again same issue. Also game wont open if there is no internet connection.

Loving the game, and would love it even more if achievement support were added to it.

Black screen pops up with logo for bout 10 seconds then shuts off. I need to be able to play the game I purchased or issue a refund!
