Great atmospheric survival horror by Nathanial
Fantastic game, I was worried it would be a "walking simulator" liker some other people, but fortunately it's a good mix of atmospheric tension and action. The first person element works well, and the inventory management aspects are interesting. Jack is an amazing character aswell. Performance is good albeit very VRAM heavy. On my 6600k/GTX 980 I can max out the game except for textures which I turned down to avoid stuttering as I hit my VRAM cap. Oh by the way, if you have 4GB of VRAM or less make sure to turn off shadow cache. Overall a fantastic addition to the Resident Evil franchise and the PC version looks and runs well.

Short but worth it by Preston Michael
I hate when a game is too short, but new weapons and challenges make this short game worth the while. I love the Resident Evil franchise, even the games people say are bad like RE 6 and Survivor. However, REvelations 1 was bad. Back to this masterpiece, it brought back the horror the game series used to have, and reinvented itself and the genre with it. I highly recommend it to any fan of the series or genre.

Had the launch issue, reinstalling did the trick by Evan
I pre-downloaded before initial release and couldn't launch once the game was officially out. Reinstalled and everything has run perfectly since. The game itself is excellent. Doesn't reinvent the wheel, but feels very reminiscent of the RE era before militia zombies were a thing.

Awesome game with a few flaws. by Donnie
Firstly the game itself and story was a welcome return and nice addition. I really enjoyed the story. Gameplay wise I don't feel it was nearly as scary or as intense as maybe others hyped it. The game at its beginning definitely ramps up tention, but that slowly fades away after the first act and the game gives way to FPS with an OUTLAST approach. Some choices followed way way too many tropes and felt forced(I won't spoil anything) I felt it weakened story a bit but still didn't take away overall. I wish the final boss fight had measured up to past fights in the game but hey it happens. Still highly enjoyable, very beautiful. A few flaws overall but nothing that would ruin the overall experience. I just feel they exchanged tension for gross display which really wasn't at all, but just was 'there'. Will play again once it has VIVE support. Again overall very happy with the game. Worth the purchase.

Revived the series. by Omean
This game have revived the dying series from the other letdown Resident Evil Titles beginning with RE4, then 5, Operation Raccoon City and Umbrella Corps. By going back to it's survival/horror roots, this benefitted not only the long time fans, but allowing new ones to enjoy this game.
