Perfect substitute for Magic! by Eric
I really enjoy this game a lot. I really enjoyed having it on my phone and tablet, now its on Windows! Yay! This game is a good substitute to Magic the Gathering if you don't want to buy the cards.

Solid by Robert
Ive played a few card battle games including HS. I like this one as much as any. No crashes and runs well on my RT.

Money trap by George
An other good game by gameloft that gets you addicted but it is used by gameloft as a money trap, and not as a free to play with microtransactions game.

It only starts well by Darrius
When I first got this game, I loved it. I agreed with most of the other reviews here TBH. However, I now realize that the game is basically a pay-to-win. To get the rarest card type, you normally need to use the game's paid currency, and most of the time, you only have chance at getting it. You can earn said currency in-game, but after playing daily for 2 weeks, I've only gotten 2 or 3 rares (the second rarest) ever. Not being able to get the rarest card quickly would be a good thing, if your opponents didn't use them so early. Excluding the tutorial, 22 duels though the story, there is an enemy that has an insanely OP deck. The most notable part is a card with over quite a lot of hlt and atk and it makes the owner immune to combat damage. He has three of them, and his heroic ability armors them. I have a passion for turn-based games, I don't think average players will get past battle 15. As an experienced TCG player, I say get it if you're willing to pay or want a short-lasting game

My favorite by J. Ian
This is one of my two or three favorite apps or games on Windows Phone (I'm totally addicted) and I'm so happy it's now on Windows 8. Works great on my Surface Pro 2, although originally it crashed when I logged in with my Gameloft ID. However, after relaunching the app, I see all my heroes from Windows Phone and have been able to play a few rounds just fine. I like the bigger view of the cards on the tablet versus the phone also!
