Description

This app is based on very popular game Monopoly.

Monopoly real-estate board game for three players, in which the player’s goal is to remain financially solvent while forcing opponents into bankruptcy by buying and developing pieces of property.

Each side of the square board is divided into 10 small rectangles representing specific properties, railroads, utilities, a jail, and various other places and events. At the start of the game, each player is given a fixed amount of play money; the players then move around the board according to the throw of a pair of dice. Any player who lands on an unowned property may buy it, but, if he or she lands on a property owned by another player, rent must be paid to that player. Certain nonproperty squares require the player landing on them to draw a card that may be favourable or unfavourable. If a player acquires a monopoly—that is, all of a particular group of properties—that player may purchase improvements for those properties; improvements add substantially to a property’s rental fee. A player continues to travel around the board until he or she is bankrupt. Bankruptcy results in elimination from the game. The last player remaining on the board is the winner. not like the game by Unknown
just downloaded. tried to play. can't see any of the property cards. all i can do is click on yes or not to buy properties. not anything like older versions of monopoly for computers used to be. was expecting the classic board, showing the classic pieces moving around the board, property card to show up, etc. this is not what I expected or wanted to buy.

Why can't I just play classic Monopoly by Unknown
I just want a classic monopoly game. this game sucks. I live in a two person household and could only play a 3 player game. no graphics, and is just a horrible version of monopoly.

Don't be a fool like I was and buy this game. Complete rip off in the Microsoft store. I am surprised this garbage is even listed for purchase. Knowing what I know now I wouldn't even get it for free. The picture for the game is set to lure you in, don't be fooled the game is trash.

Do Not Buy This Game by Thomas
This is the worst game I have ever seen for a modern day personal computer. It reminds me of something I played on my brother's Radio Shack computer 35 years ago. Read the review do not buy this! Microsoft needs to get this game off their service...they are embarrassing themselves and being used as the vehicle to enable a scam. I am sure that the clowns who did this figure that no one will ask for a refund for such a small amount of money, but if it happens enough they will get a tidy profit.
