Illyriad - MMO Grand Strategy

Lets get some things straight here ill start with the cons of the game but please continue to read the pro's this game may be worth your time. CONS * This is one of those game where you should expect to spend time building units and structures. * There is a learning curve, which can be either a good thing or a bad thing PROS * Easily the best gaming community I have ever seen on any game. many players are more than willing to send you supplies to help you get built fast. And Offer advice and guides to new players. * This game is simply complex. from faction quests, faction rep which unlocks different perks. and the research tree which unlocks way more than just units and buildings. * Build your armies and create your commanders who will lead them. yea they even level up as they fight then you can use their XP to upgrade their stats which can give bonuses to the army they are commanding. * The devs play the game to and listen to the players while hosting events.

Finally a strategy game were your real life wallet don't dictate your power.

Since downloading this game I have found that I can't stop checking on my progress. It was easy to get started as people in chat are very helpful in getting you established in the game. I was immediately invited into an alliance who will provide resources I need to expand rapidly. The overall community is friendly and are always available to give advice when you stuck. Most importantly it is a true free game I have yet felt the need to spend any money to help my progress which most games of this style once you play for a couple days you discover you can't advance unless you spend. Hope more people get on board with this game and enjoy it.
