Description

Hurricane Tracker provides you with the latest information about tropical cyclones in the Atlantic, East Pacific, West Pacific, Indian Ocean, and southern hemisphere. View a tracking chart, get the latest position and intensity, check the forecast, or view satellite imagery. Not interested in every storm in the world? Personal settings allow you to narrow it down to the hurricane basins that interest you.

Like loops? View animated satellite imagery of the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Atlantic, Pacific, or Indian Ocean. Also includes wind shear maps, steering currents, sea surface temperatures, doppler weather radar... and more. Check out past storms in the historical database section.

Hurricane Tracker That Doesn't Track by Unknown

Don't waste your time with this app. There is no way to refresh the screen and it rarely updates on it's own. Will show the same old tracking data for days on end. Erika has been gone for 3 days but this app still shows it churning as a cat1 in the eastern Atlantic. Shows no information on Fred. What's the point of a hurricane tracker if you're not going to track hurricanes?

Better Than Hurricane Tracking Websites by Ivan

This app puts pretty much all the publically available data about any given cyclone at your fingertips, including a nice view of all the different prediction models (spaghetti models) and what feels like images from every weather satellite in existence. The app seems well-built and is definitely more pleasant to use than all the free hurricane tracking websites out there, which are either filled with ads or less comprehensive. That said, the interface occasionally feels a little rough around the edges. Little things like: - The spaghetti models view should really have a legend - The main tracking view (with the circles) isn't zoomable, and if you naively try to zoom with your mouse wheel you get whisked away to a different tab. - You never quite know what the mouse wheel will do, and linking the mouse wheel to tab selection feels wrong on so many levels. If there's nothing to scroll or zoom, it should simply do nothing. - Thumbnail for spaghetti models shows the wrong storm

    by William

Doesn't work always says connection error. Update----- It works great for what it is but could be better. I aid to one on android that is called sea storm and I would like something like that. But I will give it some more time and may have to purchase this and hope development gets better.

    PASS by Alex

This is not worth the money at all. It is just screen grabs from other sources.
