Description
FINAL FANTASY Initially released in Japan in 1987, the original FINAL FANTASY amazed audiences with its rich story and stunning graphics. Players guide the Warriors of Light as they set out on a quest to restore the crystals to their former luster. Its side view battles, choice and promotion of character classes, and sprawling world explored with fantastic vehicles quickly became standards of the series. This game set the stage for all FINAL FANTASY games to come. This edition also contains the bonus dungeons added to later editions of the game--the Soul of Chaos and the Labyrinth of Time.

Bring more Final Fantasies to WP8! Unfair that iOS and Android get them all :(

An excellent port of a remake of a remake of a port of a time-tested classic. For those unaware, this game is identical to the PSP Anniversary Edition, which is probably the most complete and feature-rich version of the game at the time of writing. My only gripe is that the game and its music would seem to stutter pretty frequently while on the world map and when high level spells were cast. Other than this, the game is as good as ever and is worth a play though even today. Worth the standard asking price and a no-brainer if it's on sale.

The game is excellent. The only negative, which is a big negative, is that text in the game such as item name and descriptions is so tiny and hard to read. Even with the smartphone device brightness set on high, text in the menus is very hard to read

Great throw back, but glitches, some hard to read text, and a little pricey for a game that's over 25 years old stop it from being a 5 star

Definitely not a waste of money.. Works perfectly just how I remember it on the anniversary version for psp. Doesn't even use a lot of battery for Lumia 1520

I really enjoyed this game and all of the updates from the original. I've even purchased it on my previous iPhone and Android phones, because I feel that this game type is perfect for touch screen devices for subway commutes. My only wish is that they'd (finally) release the later games. I actually love 2, and I haven't had a chance to play 4 and 5 yet on any device (I got into the series starting with SNES's 6).
