Description
Experience a new kind of immersive horror in Dreadhalls!
You are trapped deep inside a massive dungeon. Explore it, survive it, and find a way to escape. Your only weapons will be stealth, your own courage, and a faint light.
Inspired by the survival horror and roguelike genres, Dreadhalls has been terrorizing people ever since its debut at the 2013 Oculus + Indiecade VR Jam.
Dreadhalls is an intense and scary experience, not for the faint of heart. You have been warned!
(Note: Dreadhalls require a Windows Mixed Reality immersive headset)

Overall entertaining, I like the atmosphere and ambience. Biggest complaint is locomotion. Did not feel right

Don't go by the bad reviews, THIS GAME IS GREAT! by Anthony
Don't believe the bad reviews. I've played this game on Samsung Gear VR and THAT version made me want to throw up. I played this game with an Xbox One controller and I went into the settings menu and found out you could set your rotation speed, move where you're looking and you can set it to move in increments. I enabled these and it instantly made my experience pleasurable (despite the fact that there are all sorts of creepy things going on in the game). This Windows version of the game absolutely slays the Samsung Gear VR version. Great graphics and impressive claustrophobic atmosphere, immersive sound, simple controls and creepy demons! Give it a try. It's a steal at $10, and make sure to tinker with the settings for a more comfy experience.

Buy on Steam/Avoid Microsoft Store version by Francisco
I've bought several VR games on steam and was curious to see the "native" support the Microsoft store gave its games. My steam games worked fine, except for the occasional crash which I attribute to the fact that you have to have the Windows Mixed Reality portal open when using the Steam VR application for WMR. This game, which is the only VR game I bought from the Microsoft store, has given me nausea, dizziness, and just an overall poor well-being. However, when one looks at the reviews at the steam store, you'll see great reviews with no one mentioning the locomotion effect. Dreadhalls as a game seems great and if it weren't for the VR sickness I would give it a 5/5. So do yourself a big favor and get it on steam where it was ported accordingly with no screw ups. Plus you could play the steam version offline. In order to play this Microsoft version you must be connected to the internet--at least when starting.

Chilling and Dizzy! by Shane
I lasted about 5 minutes on the game. The atmosphere was spot on and gives you the chills. Or maybe the dizziness caused the chills! Couldn't play it any longer and probably won't pick it up again. It's a shame since it started good!

Dizzy and sick from playing the game by James
This game has an odd perspective and makes you feel sick while playing. I would like a refund since I am not able to continue to use this game.

Update by Christopher
A little bit janky with the controls but nothing that can't be fixed with a little love and a software update.
