Description
Are you a medical student or a doctor? Do you have an electronic stethoscope capable of forwarding the sound it picks up to a mobile phone, either via cable or wirelessly? Now, with the Auscultation Tracker app, recording of heart, lung and other sounds is quick and easy. Select one of the 10 available slots and insert your patient details. To record a heart sound, just press the corresponding maneuver in dynamic auscultation and select the auscultation point (either, carotid, mitral, tricuspid and others) and record an individual sound for the diaphragm and for the bell components. To record lung sounds is even easier, with the ability to save sounds for both the anterior and posterior thoracic surface. Need to record other sounds, like renal artery bruits or the (abscence of) sound in ileus? Just use one of the 3 slots allocated to "Other sounds". For each system, "Heart", "Lungs" or "Other sounds", there is a place to type the findings of each one.
Sounds can then be saved to be played at a later date, for studying or for teaching medical students. All sounds are saved to the music folder in your tablet or PC, from where you can share them by email, IM or any other means, with your favorite sharing apps.
The layout of this app works best with tablets and PCs with small screens. The app works on any screen size, but the app's layout may not scale appropriately.
