ASTRONEER (Game Preview)

The game is really fun and addictive making users learn and research items. The exploration is really fun and very expansive and its really fun to see whats out there. The only real problems ive had with this game is adjusting the camera is hard to control and I had to look up how to use the smelter and vehicle bay. I recommend you try the 60 minute trial first before you buy, I downloaded the trial at first and then I was dying to buy the full game. I love Astroneer definitely try it

This is pretty awesome considering it's only a pre-alpha build. It kind of feels like Minecraft with a No Mans Sky flare to it... I hope Developers keep on with this project because I can see this getting popular pretty quicky... However there needs to be a bit more to the game itself objective wise, because it gets a bit repetitive making the same bases on different planets... A huge plus for me is the multiplayer because exploring these planets with friends together at the same time is amazing! If they can get servers to help make the connections more stable and less laggy, then that would will be a huge boost for the game. Keep up the great work!!!

Addicting. Pretty. Imaginative. Imperfect. This game will get you hooked immediately. The further you go the better it gets. However, on the xbox anyways, the more you introduce into your world the slower the game becomes. This is truly a masterpiece in the making, but you may want to consider saving your pennies for at least the post-alpha release. Assuming that day comes.

This game is incredible.. for a pre-alpha. People saying it's short and not worth it's pricetag; this is a work-in-progress. You need to realize this before buying, or you may be disappointed. The game is spectacular, but it will get repetitive after leaving the first planet. The point of continuing is to experience different environments, researching everything, and most importantly; report any of the game's issues in order to make it better for future players. Content is always being added, mechanics often changed, etc. The only bug I have found, which everyone finds due to it being pre-alpha, is the world not always loading properly. Tip; if you don't know the controls, hit the 'select' or 'view' button (whatever you want to call it). To the genius who said that the game is impossible due to a small amount of oxygen.. find compound, craft tethers. You're welcome. I hope any of this review helps someone.

Although it's still in pre alpha it has lots of potential and at its current state its extremely fun and challenging from having to adapt to each planets environments to learning your randomly generated world which help and hurt you in many ways. Astroneer has changed alot since i got it day one and i expect it to change alot more in the following months i truly enjoy this game for what it is and i fully reccomend this at full price while they're bugs in the game what pre alpha doesn't have bugs, the amount of potential completely out weighs the bugs but i would recommend test Astroneers free trial before buying to see whether you like it or not if you love space exploration astroneer will not disappoint you- XxXHALOROCKSXx

you start out on a home planet, explore to unlock reasearch items and build up your base, then eventually build a spaceship and launch into space and pick a new planet to explore and each one is different.. its a lot of fun and has so much potential with time and the dev team really interacts with the community and is working hard on it, def worth $20

I like how relaxing the game is, and the idea of researching items to expand what you're able to do in the game.

A basic straight forward aproach, to seekout world's with various types of resources to survive in unknown and harsh environments. The game so far uses simple obstacle's and conditions to deal with on the planets you or your friends will spread out various sized base camp's. As of now the game is a work in progress. Theres a demo (single player). If you make the purchase of the game, you will then be able to play co-op with friends. I have only one complaint, the navigation controller on some objects is a little buggy to manage in some area's and situations. Though this game i a pre-alpha the creators and developers are takeing feedback for ideas etc. This game can go in many interesting directions with the simplified criteria they have already applied ???
