    Crashes on Launch by Adam

The app fails to launch in Win 10. The window opens, shows the title screen, then crashes. Fair warning to anyone with Win 10, it does not work. This game is fairly old, so I do not foresee Ubisoft adding any extra support for the game, but I still plan to open a support ticket nonetheless. Thank goodness I only paid $0.10 for it.

Excellent, but could be better by Yevgeny

The gameplay is pretty good, but after a while, the game gets repetitive. It's more designed for tablets than desktop computers, because the game requires action mostly through the use of clicking, tapping or swiping. Once the difficulty level rises, the game becomes increasingly difficult to play on a desktop.

Enjoyable game, once I figured out a better dodge by Chuck

If you don't have a touch screen, getting your mouse over the L/R dodges was really hard to do fast enough in the higher levels. I accidently figured out that if you click in the middle (where the spider chain is) and drag the direction you want to dodge it goes that direction. No need to make a specific click, just click/drag once you see which direction the shots are going. Hope they add additional chapters, it would have been fun to go further with the story.

    Great game! by Nathan

This is probably the best game currently available for Surface RT. I was a little skeptical at first being Ubisoft usually releases tons of ports of the same game and doesn't spend the extra time to perfectly polish their games. The graphics, controls, music, art style, and sound effects are spot on and of high quality. Everything works together to make an extremely satisfying adventure atmosphere. You can basically upgrade everything on this game: crew members, ships, special abilities, etc. The types of missions are varied as well. The touchscreen controls are excellent and work perfectly on my Surface. I've had a few technical glitches: the game froze once and I had to reset my Surface and the sea shanties my crew sings while cruising on the main map sometimes cut out and I have no music of any kind until I start the next mission. Ubisoft did an amazing job on this game! I'm not a fan of Assassin's Creed games but I really like the sailing aspect (much like AC IV).

App does not launch?! by James

I just bought this on sale. When I go to launch the app, It shows me the title screen and then crashes to the start menu. I have seen other reviews with a similar issue. My computer meets the recommended system requirements and I am not sure what to do. If I paid for a game and it does not launch, I would like to find a way to get my money back. I am going to contact Ubisoft and see if I can get this fixed.

Give me more storyline! by andrew

I enjoyed this game a lot! I really am disappointed that there seemingly won't be an update, but I enjoyed playing it. I have to say you really want to have a solid computer for this game, as that makes a world of difference. The scaling issue can be solved by going full screen, exiting, then opening again.

Same issue as many. by Chris

It could be great, but just like many have stated I ran into the same issue. The title screen starts and loads for about ten seconds and then it just closes. I might think mine was an isolated issue, but it sounds like it's a very common one. I will raise my rating once this is fixed though. It looks awesome in the pictures and would love to play it. As of right now with the condition that it is in, I cannot recommend this to anyone unless you know for sure it will work for you.

Doesn't go full screen. by Eli

Graphics are cut off once I hit full screen mode. Restoring it to windowed mode fixes it.
