Description

Going to hit some snow this season? Now you can control your Sony ActionCam and digital cameras from your Windows Phone, including recording movies, taking still photos and taking time-lapse photos. All with easy NFC pairing. This app will work with Sony ActionCam and digital cameras with Wi-Fi feature. It is tested to work with HDR-AS15V, HDR-AS30V, HDR-AS100V, DSC-QX10, DSC-QX30, QX1, NEX-5T, DSC-RX100 M3, α7, and α6000. You may need to update the firmware on your camera for enhanced compatibility. This is a third party app. We offer try-before-you-buy for testing compatibility between the app and your camera. The trial version allows you to use the app for up to 10 minutes every 6 hours, or whole day on every Wednesdays. Please make sure the app is compatible with your camera before purchasing the full version. And this app may not support every features on your device. If your phone does not support NFC, please consult the camera manual or look at battery compartment for Wi-Fi network name and password. (Currently, only shutter is supported on Sony digital cameras, zoom and focus are not supported)

Thanks for filling the gap that Sony left by not providing a Windows Phone app. It was one of the reasons I bought a GoPro after my AS100. The app is quick, fluid and functional. The main point for improvement would be to add a gallery function, so we can at least view pictures/videos and perhaps them to the phone. If that is added it's a definite 5-star app.

Good viewfinder but how is it supposed to compare when u can even view videos at lest give us that for a paid app I don't care I can't edit or hear sound but my god at least let me see what I recorded and delete video like play memories for android or apple with highlights viewer bot edition but viewer and delete option

Quick connection to the camera as100v very useful app for action cam owners little jittery when using it for recording but don't know if it is the speed of the phone or the wifi direct. Other than that great app

Finally a usable app for ActionCam! Love its clear indication of recording mode and NFC pairing, and quick to connect too. Must have for ActionCam owner!
