Thank God this was free!!! NO INSTRUCTIONS & playing field is so TINY, u can't even see where ur going! But, I guess that's ok, cuz the controls are IMPOSSIBLE anyway!!! Why would u have the player swipe LFT or RT to rotate the ship & tap the screen or hold their finger down to accelerate? Wouldn't it just be easier to have the ship move with the player's movements?! EXAMPLES: 1.) Player swipes finger across screen "quickly" , ship zooms in same direction & matches finger's speed. 2.) Player moves finger "slowly" across screen , ship moves at same speed & in same direction. 3.) Player swirls finger on screen in counter clockwise motion ↪, ship rotates LFT ↪. 4.) Player swirls finger on screen in clockwise motion ↩, ship rotates RT ↩. Simple, huh? Well DV's, as they say on Star Trek: "MAKE IT SO". PLEASE!!!!! -&- Thank You!!!!!

Glad there is a tablet version. It's easier by Joshua
The developer responded to my original review (pasted below) to let me know a tablet version of the game was released and should be easier to control. I really appreciate them taking the time to let me know. They are correct that it's easier. It's still difficult for me. Perhaps I'm just getting too old. Thank you developer. previous review which still is true for phone version "Just bought this game. Please, developer, make an easier level or something. It's too hard and I give up after one minute. Great game except for not providing easier controls/levels:"

I bought this game because it's a game troopers game and it was on sale. Controls make this game unplayable. I wasted my money.. Uninstalling after about 6 attempts to complete level 1.. Devs, if level 1 is impossible.. Then something is VERY wrong with your game!

If you want a challenge, this is what you've been looking for. Just try not to chuck your phone across the room and you'll be fine. Other than that, decent game.

Was really looking forward to playing this game. But it shuts down every time I try to start the first level.

Game is now universal.. Cool! But by Niraj
Developes of game added gamepad support to PC version which is very cool but not to touchscreen devices (Windows phone & Tablets). We want better control in Phone Version. I hope Game Troopers will listen to me & add better controls. Thankyou Developer for fantastic update but please add better control for phone version too :). I hope you will add that soon ☺

The controls are horrible

Forums identified how the controls actually work. One half of screen is interpreted as thrust, and the other half you swipe to turn. Two thumbs to play is best. Once you know that, the game gets better. The Devs should have done more, like a tutorial, to actually explain how the controls work.
